rabbitstopper
I have always thought my Dan Arms i have just got was a 2 3/4inch gun, gun after taking off the for end it say '' CAM 76 " does this mean it has a 76mm/3inch chamber, and also being a old gun (15years) although only seen about 500 shots, will it blow up in my face if i stick some 50gram carts through it ?? Hammergun
Rabbitstopper. Depends on service pressure too. Long chambered guns should be magnum proofed anyway. All guns must have proof marks on each barrel including - chamber length, bore reading, nominal bore size, service pressure, provisional proof, and Nitro / NP / BNP (if for modern cartridges) Contact the Birmingham Proof House for clarification, or have a look at their website (and get their phone no from): http://www.gunproof.com
