morgan
Hi , I'm thinking of buying a new lamping kit this year, so can I use the two 12v Cluson CB2 lamps I've got already as top quality spotlights on my pickup. They are 12V, so how does it work with the bulbs, will they blow. Any suggestions on how to wire them in properly or would it be just the same as normal spotlights (thinking about protecting the expensive bulbs from blowing). I know lorries and rallycars use Lightforce spotlights, so can I use clusons ? Edited December 11, 2010 by morgan
owain
I think the main thing with fitting the clulites to your 4x4 will be that their not waterproof unlike the lightforce. You could waterproof them and seal them but they might overheat. You would probably be better of selling your cb2s and buying a set of decent spotlights second hand cibies or Hellas.
