rozzer
hi peeps, got me a hand stirup pump but it seems to be playing up, when you are attempting to fill anything it almost breaks your back as it's sucking the plunger back down into the main cylinder!! Any help, advice on what I need to do to sort this out would be appreciated please. Merry crimbo rozzer
Rem223
I can't really offer anything positive. I had the same problem with mine. I found the moisture trap (which consisted of steel ball bearings) had reacted with the alloy housing and was all furred up. I obtained a "repair kit" from Air Arms (I think) but all this consisted off was a load of glass beads to use in place of the ball bearings. I then tried replacing the O rings but ultimately I couldn't get it to function properly. It did what yours did pulled a vacuum on the up stroke. I plan on buying a Hill pump next time as they have a proper kit to repair it. http://www.airriflepump.com/

pabs
Hills pumps are pretty indestructible. I got one before I got my 300bar 12ltr bottle. I still have the Hills for when I can't get down to the refill shop.
