Will Beasley
Thought I'd pass this on in case any of you are interested. I've seen a pilot of this programme which had some rather amusing Pigeon shooting footage. Dear all, I do hope that you will be able to watch the first foray into television for myself and my cousin Sir Richard Heygate. We have been working on this project for some time- to present a TV programme that really gets under the skin of the great British countryside and its sporting traditions - and allows us to meet some of the great characters that we all know inhabit it. This first programme is to be shown on BBC2 on February 28th at 8pm and it’s called ‘The Bart & the Bounder’ I am sure you can guess which is which, This is a ’pilot’ one-off and if successful a series will hopefully be commissioned. I hope very much that you will be able to watch it and tell your friends about it, who I am sure will have a similar interest in this kind of programme. Personally I think there should be many more programmes about the countryside on TV and Richard and I hope this will be the first of many. If you like what you see you could consider telling the BBC your views. You can ring the BBC duty office on 0207 743 8000. The BBC always takes a great interest in what the viewers think. With best wishes Mike Daunt
