2bangs
Hi, I've just bought myself another shotgun, nice little AYA (Yeoman I think), does anyone know how I would go about finding the age of it ? there's a stamping on it next to the serial number on the boxlock, this has 12 - 70, could this mean December 1970 or is that too obvious? I appreciate any info, thanks. PS I'll try and get some photo's on

fortune82
Nice gun! Watch the barrels though. I had one and it was constantly picking up dents from no where. I think I look after my guns but the Yeoman took the ****. A few people on here have had similar problems.

wymberley
Hi, Don't shoot owt that big any more, so wait for someone to confirm, but from memory that was the proof for the 23/4" (70mm) "magnum" cartridge when your gun was made. Cheers
