Tim Kelly
I think Napier used to make a shotgun slip which you could secure to something with a bike lock type thing. They don't seem to be on their website any more. Does anyone else make anything similar? It's to secure a semi auto while I'm away for the weekend without a suitable gun cabinet to keep the gun in, so it needs to be a full length slip, and I need to be able to attach it to rafters in lofts etc.
silpig5
best bet if you have it is the hard case . i allways take my berreta in its hard case and a good bike lock with me when away , can secure it to load staps in motor , then on a suitible hard post whilst at hotel or friends . even a radiator pipe with a suitibly thrown towell and clothes make a good secure spot ! the other real good thing about a hard case strapped down in motoe , is if ever (god fobid ) there was a bad accident , you dont have steel barrels flying near your head in the car and that your precious unisured gun doesnt get chuccked down a slab of unforgiving tarmac . adi
HDAV
Napier protector or protector 2 (secure) is what your after try scottcountry and eBay I have a protector 2 secure and IMO it's better the Browning hardcase that the gun came in (easier to secure in a car, and when away from home great for locking gun to solid object) the protector 2 also is the least gun like gun slip I have seen. Can be used as a normal slip when out shooting so saves having to carry the hard case and a slip with you. http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products_detail.asp?productID=1463 Just spent a week travelling round relatives over Xmas with mine and it's great for that.
