foghorn
As i was driving home today and saw 100s and 100s and 100s of birds dropping on to a OSR field, alas dont my permission ( estate land ), it was a truely wondeful sight as they continued to drop down, then after only settling for a few minutes, they were off in all directions. So there are birds about in great numbers, just not were i can shoot.

Mightymariner
I'm lucky this part of the shoot isn't being shot till next week, and to be honest, I don't think the pheasants take any notice if you are in a fixed hide.
