Cranfield
There are some good decoy layout suggestions at UK Shootwarehouse http://www.ukshootwarehouse.co.uk/. There has been a lot of discussion on here about layouts, flappers, and rotaries, try a Search and you should find some. I tend to use my flapper near the front of my layout, hoping that the movement will draw the pigeons attention to the rest of the decoys. I use different layouts for different crops and conditions. A lot of it is experiment and experience. If things are a bit slow during the day, try something different for an hour or so, if that doesn't work, try something else. Cranfield
I break the wings for my flapper and one of my floater/bouncers. Do what you have to, just to make it oook realistic.
