955i
Brought a bipod on here the other day and came to fit it, but the thread in the stock for the swivel is threaded and won't stay in Anyone got any good tips for fixing this? I do have some 'things' in the shed that are like a pyramid shape with a broad thread on them that you fit to wood with an allen key and have a standard 8 or 10mm thread inside them, but the ones I have are too big and I've no idea what they are called so can't really search for them online Thanks in advance
Dunkield
I take it you mean the thread into the stock for the QD stud? Pictures might help. You can get studs that are threaded to take a nut on the inside of the stock, but I just use the normal self tapping type studs and put some glue on the thread. 955i
I take it you mean the thread into the stock for the QD stud? Yes, sorry. It is where the sling swivel was originally. I think the things I have are sometimes called 'nutserts' Looking at it, I reckon I can sort it if I can find an insert the right size
