Deako
Just a small tip,but it might be of use. If,when doing your recces, you see a group of birds feeding away, don't be in a rush to haul your kit and get banging at them.Watch for a while and see what numbers are building up.If it looks good, and you can do it,leave them alone for a couple of days.I know this is not possible sometimes as farmers demand instant protection, but try to explain that if you can leave them for a few days you will put a serious dent in their numbers.I guarantee that if you can do this you will shoot three times as many birds as they 'tune' into the field. The slight extra crop damage will be more than offset by the numbers shot.Hope this helps.
paul p
i agree the problem a lot of people have got is they have only got saturday or sunday to shoot so they find the birds they dont know if the birds have been on there a week or a day what i do is after work i put the dogs in the truck and go looking it gets the dogs out and you dont have to lose time on your day of shooting
