COACH
I have one but these traps are a complete rip off, they are very expensive compared to other similar traps. They are quite good but I also found that once sold, Acorn don`t want to know at all not even with help to put on accessories. I have had the tilt plates for over a year now but I can`t get them to tell me how to fit them, nothing lines up or makes sense. Useless after sales service. Diceman
I KNOW I OWN ONE BUT NOT THAT IMPRESSED FOR THE MONEY. MY ONE HAS A SLIGHT FALT AT THE MOMENT IT KEEPS FIREING CLAYS OUT WEN YOU PUSH THE FOOT PEDEL ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE.? The foot pedal is probably making some sort of electrical circuit when you press it. If you cut the cable between the pedal and the trap the clays should stay put, making them much easier to hit. Or do you mean that once pressed, the trap keeps firing even when you take your foot off? Clean all the muck off the pedal for a start, if that doesn't work take it to bits and check the spring that holds it in the 'off' position, if all OK have a look over the wires and make sure nothing is loose and there are no shorts. It will only be a very simple on/off two switch, any fault should be pretty obvious one you are in there. If still no joy inspect the cable for damage, it might be shorting somewhere, although this would set the trap off whether you stood on the button or not. MY ONE HAS A SLIGHT FALT AT THE MOMENT IT KEEPS FIREING CLAYS OUT WEN YOU PUSH THE FOOT PEDEL ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE.? I have had the same problem and it was the small black magnet under the arm. This stops the trap after each firing and is fixed with two screws, try loosening the screws and moving the magnet forward a little . This should cure the problem
