Uploaded with ImageShack.us the only marking on the gun is "durham" stamped on the barrel which i think refers to the steel. Av a go! HDAV
cheshire gunroom? Looks exactly like a "Midland" I had made in italy (check the proof marks) by FIAS/Sabatti Single trigger (none selective ejector?) see what you think http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/131212-midland-gun-co-over-under-12bore-ou/page__p__1125584__hl__midland__fromsearch__1#entry1125584 http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/154281-midland-over-n-under/page__p__1313489__hl__midland__fromsearch__1#entry1313489 http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/140913-parker-hale-midland-502-over-under/page__p__1202323__hl__midland__fromsearch__1#entry1202323 http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/137945-midland-gun-12-bore/page__p__1178792__hl__midland__fromsearch__1#entry1178792 Also sold as parker hale and probably a few others....... I saw it advertised way over priced in my opinion....

PigeonEater
i just saw it as a cheap m/ch, but maybe not cheap enough! It feels a decent solid gun but your always going to be a unsure if you dont know what your buying think i'll leave it tbh. I have to say though, being a gunsmith (which the work ive had done from them before clearly shows) doesnt automatically mean you can ident every piece of kit out there. You should think about the idiotic thing you are saying when calling someone an idiot Just sayin...

Well when i had my "midland" i spoke to a gunsmith about it who praised the design and action as a good solid reliable bit of engineering. I had a problem with the second barrel not firing took it to a smith who stripped and cleaned the action of 15 years worth of grime, oil and muck replaced a screw and it was fine! So its not a bad gun (if it is the same, engraving looks odd, either part finished or perhaps hand done, maybe imported by a maker to be engraved here?) There are few on the forum with these so i am sure your questions can be answered. http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/101123173513011 seems someone else has got one..... http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/100806161423457 seems most of the midlands are FC http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/110106164757000
