Hodmedod.one
They are all made from exactly the same quality German components. but the ones that are assembled in Hungary are cheaper because of the labour costs.
Ballie
Hi I have just bought a Hung-Schmidt 8 x 56 and it seems very good I was told by the guy in the shop (Rick at Chris Potter guns) that the only difference between the Hungarian and German (apart from £200) is the fact that one is assembled in Hungary and the other in Germany. Alot of shops don't sell the German ones now because the Hungarian are the same but cheaper - or thats what I' ve been told anyway.

Look no further, take a look at this link below: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SCHMIDT-BENDER-8-X-5...1QQcmdZViewItem Its the Hungarian model and on E.bay. Apparently their just the same. I did bid for it, but got too expensive, altough still cheap.
deadeye ive
Just bought a Hungarian 8 x 56 Schmidt The guarantee roughly states if used correctly then parts and materials and workmanship are guarenteed for 30 years The brand name as to be protected at all costs so I can't really see the Hungarian ones being inferior in any shape or form .
