Any good tips on how to stop chokes working themselves loose,

without the obvious method of using the key,i say this as i put it in tight

but it still manages to work loose. As this could be a bit dangerous if i was ever

blessed with being surrounded by thousands of pigeons...

how loose? I have one that gets 1/4 turn loose every so often, but last time i had it out for a clean, I put it back in with a good smear of gun grease.

If your firing a lot shots it could be the barrel getting hot and expanding faster than the choke?

havent tried th eloctite myself tbh

jwas first thing that came to mind.

not sure how it would cope with the heat!?

my half choke comes loose after about 20 shots or so, frustrating but i have put over a thousand shots through quarter now and it has stayed in tight!

are you having the problem with every choke or just 1?

if you havent tried different chokes just stick another in and see how it goes.
