I fitted my Magnaclean a few weeks ago and read on instructions that they use a SDS drill with an attachment on - being as I don't have the attachment can I as mentioned earlier give rads a gentle tap with rubber mallet - will that shift any sludge - My system is only two years old and used three existing rad which were hosed out in garden and inhibitor was used from start and I did drain and fill for weeks before the change to system

I had a Worcester/Bosch oil fired Combi Greenslave 18/25 fitted and have to agree the shower is superb but it's much more expensive to run than my my old oil fired Eurocal at other place - there I had Hotwater tank and to my mind that is a better system and I really do miss a bath - Got big shower cubicle - was planning for old age there - you know getting your leg over (Bath that is)

Al4x - yeah it's an old mate of Stealth Stalker's, he's a great guy.

As none of us in the house have consistent times of use hot water wise, it's a nightmare having a tank - so much better having a combi.

Also the difference between the cheap combi we had in the old house, the ancient non-condensing boiler we had here and this new one is amazing.
