Teal Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 Not many people tackle foxes this way, it can be good fun and it does work, but if you're into fox control you're much better off with a rifle or speaking to someone who has. Give us a bit more detail about the problems you're having calling this fox. The best bet is probably baiting it, and waiting when its coming in regularly. Although i mainly use rifles i shoot many with the scatter gun, indeed i tend to alway carry one when i take a mate out with his rifle lamping and i also work with foxhounds about a dozen times a year or so.
