Mightymariner Posted March 4, 2011 Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 Went for a recce today to see which maize strip would be likely for a go on Monday, only to find the strips being topped and then ploughed in! Nightmare. Spoke to farms manager, who said they were hoping to finish all by tomorrow. The one I watched had hundreds on it, then an hour later it was brown earth. Mightymariner Posted March 4, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 4, 2011 It's just the way it goes sometimes....the farm manager was almost hinting he would leave one strip for me, but they've got work to do so I can't complain, and it is too wet to drill which is why they were doing the cover strips.
