mattslaptop247
Thinking of getting rid of a Lee Enfield bayonet. It fits the Lee enfield no.1 SMLE. It is the 1907 patent model and was made in January 1917 by the wilkinson sword company. (It has the king george stamps on it, the date of manufacture aswell as the broad arrow stamp for government issue) http://arms2armor.com/Bayonets/brit1907.htm It is in good condition, having no visible rust. The overall length is 22", the blade being 17". The original wallnut grips are in good condition also. This is a great piece for 94 years old! Just think of all the action it has probably seen in conflicts around the world from both world wars, if only it coud talk. I am only selling it off to put the money towards my pheasant rearing project. £100 posted
