oomoo28
Hi All I am posting on behalf of my Dad who in his mid 60's who is constantly struggling with finding a reliable shoot partner for marking at clay shoots etc on a sunday morning around the Wolverhamptonb Area. He is a very experienced gun and happy to even share vehicles to reduce costs traveling to grounds. Is there anyone out there in a similar position? thanks JT Edited March 7, 2011 by oomoo28

oomoo28
Hi there, thank you for the message, my dad normally shoots in the local area of Wolverhampton simply because of the cost of driving further a field. He is always instersted in going to new clubs especially ones that are less clickie. Sadly I think Rugby is a little too far for him as would take about 90 mins to get too. But thank you for the offer.
originalgeezer
Would your dad be happy to drive to Shugborough? Not to far from Wolverhampton (Stafford junction 13 M6), I drive there from Halesowen most weeks - they have trappers who mark your card for you, lovely place to go and I have always found it friendly and easy going. Hi there thanks for the suggestion, my dad does go to Shugborough sometimes. I have been with him a couple of times and agree it is a nice ground. From chatting to my dad about this its only down side is its not the cheapest place to shoot. but as I have said to him you pay for what you get.
