kighill
I have just removed camo tape from a wooden stock, unfortunately a very sticky residue is now left on the wood. Any suggestions on how to get it off please without damaging the wood. I have already asked the wife who suggested the best way to remove the residue was to do it myself

Bowen20
Yeah baby oil. I used to cover my over and under in camo tape sometimes left a residue but not much just normally on the barrels and I used to use my girl friends nail polish remover. Beware that the fabric camo tape is pourus and when it gets wet rusts your barrels underneath horribly and leaves a very very bad residue. I'd try baby oil mixed with elbow grease if the gun is expensive if not I'd just use nail polish remover.
