I have a 7 month old mint condition Boyd's Stock. The stock was for my Howa 1500 .22-250 sporter short action. The stock is a pepper grey thumb hole stock and is in fantastic condition it has been mounted on my rifle and then taken out to zero then decided I wanted to sell the rifle so took the stock off and put the original one back on it. It has since lived in the back of my cabinet and not seen the light of day the stock has 3 studs one for bi pod and 2 for a sling it really is a superb aftermarket add on and certinately improves your groups. As I have already mentioned I'm selling a few bits to fund a deposit for a house or to help towards. Price is £100.00 collected Doncaster area.

I hate it when people are tight just go and buy a new cabinet and stop crying if someone wanted to sell/give me a cabinet with exposed hinges I would think hmmm looks a bit of a **** design the new ones haven't got this so I'd go buy another one or newer one. The FEO's just give you a gist of what's going to happen they don't have the last word it's the firearms licensing manager you need to speak to and explain your situation if your going to keep the cabinet

Just shoot them anyway. You know the rifle is capable and I thought .223 was ok across uk for muntjack and cwd. It's strange how in Scotland they can use .223 for roe ...... The deer must be tougher up there. The conditions and ******* about they make you do almost makes it all too much of a ball ache it could be so much easier.

I used to shoot them with my .223 howa 1500. It was effective I also took my 12g out with me for when they got up and came over me after I had shot the rifle to double my chances. It was a good technique but they soon move off. And they just come back now on the odd time.
