Pilky
When shooting Pigeons is there a particular time of day that seems to work better or is it just as and when the pigeons are about? Cheers Pilky.
Beardo
Generally they feed first thing in the morning then sit up and digest over lunchtime, coming back down to feed mid afternoon before going to roost before last light.
Pilky
Cheers nickbeardo. Any other tips about hides and decoys etc would be very very greatfully received.
bakerboy
If you go to Tips and Tricks, Nickbeardo has posted how and where to place your decoys , and if you go to Talk from the field (both are in the pinned section) Teal has a crop calender , you will find both very useful . bakerboy Terry ps. This is why I believe we should place all this info in one place to enable the newbie to access all information from one source. I realise my suggestion of a booklet, cards etc was not a good idea, but I believe this suggestion has merit we just need someone with the time and knowledge to compile it. It could then be added to as seem appropiate .
Constantinos
You could start up a little advisory committee/group just to pool info... still effort which ever way you do it! Edited March 14, 2011 by Constantinos
