SirWingAlot Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Ok guys, really need your advice. I and my brother are well into air rifle target shooting, and are desperate to get into hunting. We have discounted letter dropping as so many of you say the response is poor. We have been out and about trying to speak to as many people as possible, but not having any joy at all. So, is actually advertising for permissions a bad idea? I'm thinking basically of getting car door magnets or designing posters for the landy's windows. Already got business cards made up (even left some at a local shop where farmers buy supplies ). But am I asking to get my windows smashed but the animal rights nutters? The way i see it, there has to be a reason why no one else has done this (that I know of). Some advice from anybody in the know would be great! stubby Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 being a pest controller, I had the magnet signs for the doors, but found they came unstuck at speeds (not fast) so went for window decals, back and two rear sides, was worried that my windows may get done, as I advertised fox,squirrel,rabbit,pigeon removal, all the furry stuff that the anti brigade love, well they have been on a little over two years, and no problems as yet, but yes, they have bought me extra buisness Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think I might try some laminated signs for the windows, and that way I can just take them off in a flash if I'm leaving the tuck anywhere unsavoury. I'm in east sussex, and as far as I aware, we don't suffer from an infestation of animal rights cuddly-wuddly muppets. We've just got all the damn human rights activists instead.
