Vermincinerator
A friend gave me a nice plump grey he had trapped which i said i would like to eat. I prepped and jointed it for cooking (boy are they tough to skin) but could not decide how to cook him. My mrs suggested i bake it in one of those Maggi seasoning bags where you shake it up and pop it in the oven. In he went for 2 1/2 hours and WOW!! absolutely delicious, much better then rabbit, the meat was juicey, succulent and pulled away from the bone freely, the seasoning only served to enhance the flavour, cant wait for the next lot. Ian, They do like to hang on to their jackets don't they! Agree with the taste test - delcious meat, almost creamy texture and quite sweet meat really. mmm
