TaxiDriver Posted April 8, 2011 Report Share Posted April 8, 2011 Both mine and my sons laptops need new batteries, Mine, a DELL is a whopping £127+ on their website but the laptop works fine on the mains lead (even if it is a bit of a loose fit) so it can most likely wait. If you're competent you can open them up and replace the cells with NiMh units. Replace them all; probably tagged sub-C cells. Get it wrong though and you'll start a fire.
