JustJon
Hi, I've got a 14 month old JRT. She was just sat at the side of me finishing off her chewy and then leapt on all 4's vertically up. She did this 4 times. There was no bee or similar which could have bitten her and she wasn't choking on the cheewy. Thoughts? Was she having a fit? Any actions? It's been a warm day buy she's been in shade and had access to water all the way through.
Rushjob
Must admit my Parson JRT is quite adept at the vertical 4 legged jump. It's her way of seeing out of the window, reminding us that she's stood by the back door waiting to go in or out, or looking over the crops when we're out. Having had a couple of dogs which suffered fits, jumping up in the air is the last thing they'd do before a seizure. It could have been something simple that she heard and you didn't... al4x
not sure why you think jumping is a fit or sign of but stop panicking, My jrt's used to be able to jump vertically and slightly more worrying my GWP can as well
JustJon
Sorry fellas, didn't explain myself very well. My JRT does jump - this wasn't that. It was involuntary and scaring her. She wasn't in control. Jumps where maybe only 10cm high, she can jump 6 times that when she wants to!
