UKPoacher
Been out today on the clover. Plenty of pigeons about, and there still is! Sixteen shots before I touched a feather Roobs was so fed up she broke after one that dived out of the way. Eventually I brought it back to a less then respectable 16-1, 17-2, 19-3 & 25-4 Never shot as bad in my life. Looks like in my area they have switched from OSR to clover. Atb Duncan The fortunate thing is that I was supposed to be shooting clays that day, but my mate cancelled. Just think of the embarassment. The Duncan
Fate smiled on you that day then There's nothing quite like cocking up on the clays in front of an audience Sadly, that appears to be almost the norm for me. Perhaps I shouldn't go hung-over? To be fair to you Clive, if you discount the first 15 shots (after which, you no doubt had a word with yourself) you did pull it back a fair old bit. Similarly, a few weeks ago I had a go at some pigeon near Cambridge with Bruno22rf - cracking day in the end, but I couldn't hit a barn door in the morning. In the afternoon, I couldn't miss! Go figure Your account of Roobs attitude made me laugh. Cheers Duncan Edited April 16, 2011 by The Duncan
UKPoacher
Might be something in that. I got up after night shift with only 3 - 4 hours kip. Different story today - five straight kills including a carrion and a magpie
