winchester12 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 The way fuel and insurance is going I can see 4x4's becoming rarer and rarer. My father in law works in the car trade. He was telling me new and used sales of 4x4 have plumeted over the past year and used prices are low. This taking into account a generally depressed market as well. I used to have a Grand Vitara and changed for a VW TDI last year. It has saved me over £100 a month on fuel, insurance and road tax. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes, but your not 17, and have how many years no claims (potentially 6 ?) My mate is 17 and drives one of them beastys for 650 a year fully comp but as a named driver and his family have owned the truck for a few years. Me and my mate have 1.25 fiestas and we were cruising with my mate in his fourtrack in convoy round his farm, we went off road and the fourtrack bogged down and the fezzas kept going he hasnt heard the end of it yet Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
