Durham-laddie
All Reet, First few months of pigeon shooting, and all is going well...ish. Need to ask, do pigeons shop feeding when crops get to a certain height ? I've only shot over Rape so far this year, and now its at a good height there are a lot less around, but our area is mostly Rape. I'm still finding them round the edges or sitting under a flight line. Is it the same for all crops, peas, beans, barley....etc ? Is the best shooting when the crop has been sown / cut and short and drilling time and summer months ? Cheers Chris
vampire
Best time is just as its drilled and during harvest when all the seed is laying on the ground,or when snow covers everything except that little patch you uncover
