nimms
Maybe a silly question. But is it ok to keep shotgun inside gun slip and inside gun safe as I have room to get it in, as I don't want get scratches and dinks getting it in and out of safe. I can understand it would be bad practice if slip is wet is there any other reason why this is a bad idea. Thanks in advance. Nimms
WelshLamb
I can't see why not!
Beardo
you can get some pretty good anti-rust / anti-scratch thin slips for cabinets. the main reason not to use a normal one is the moisture build up / damp from one that's been used in the field - it will cause rust. Space is also sometime an issue - guns in cases take up more spaces. but a nice clean one that is only used in the cabinet should be ok. Simon123
We keep all of our guns in our safe all in slips. Absolutely fine, actually a great idea, much better than marking and scratching you beloved guns :good:
CZ550Kevlar
Keep it in a slip in your cabinet...? how very odd and quaint i give my a dressing gown and zip up booties.
J@mes
Keep mine an a gun sock, because sometimes the slip can get damp if you've been shooting in the rain. Gun socks are about £11, supposedly help reduce rust but that wasn't the case with mine.
