Simon123
An even cheaper way is a thin sock and a bamboo stick and your barrels become beautifully clean ;)
Paul T
Just found one and yes its just too fat I'm going to look at these in DIY shops to see if there's any thinner. Why bother? Spray barrels with cleaner. Wrap a strip of kitchen roll round the mop and push through. Chuck the black roll. Add more cleaner. Brush with wire brush to remove plastic residue (from wads) and any stubborn bits. Wrap mop again and run through. Add a couple of drops of gun oil to barrels. Run through twice with clean mop (no kitchen roll). Do this and a mop will last forever - why make it harder work? I've had the same one for 18 months! apache
Mops don't wear out. Just spend the £4! The PB brushes do wear and need replacing.
