lanber1088
Hi person22, just got my FAC, i had two friends one a nurse and the other owns a garage to sign mine went through with no problems.I see you are putting in for a .22. My FAO would not grant a .22 on one of my permissions because of ricochet but the .17HMR is fine. He has granted the .22lr on my other permissions but tried to steer me towards buying a .17HMR as they are a lot safer.Hope things go ok for you. :o
Axe
Seems things are not too disimlar there as Sussex, who have the same views. I would suggest putting both down. :o Though once youve played with the .17HMR i'd say you'll not bother with the .22LR.

dunganick
just because you have a ticket with the correct slot dosent mean you can use someone else's rifle. Unless you get shared access and the gun is on both of your tickets. you may as well get your own one. they arnt that experisive, £300 for a cz452 with a cheap scope and mount. Axe
Nicks right the only other way, would be for your dad to attend the shoot (HE has authority for) with you to supervise your shooting, of which you wouldnt need the license anyway. However, based on what you are saying you should also know that you will likely need another cabinet as well. I assume you live at home with dad, the problem is, if your dad is storing his rifles in the cabinet you intend to use you would also need all his rifles on your ticket as well and vice versa. Only the license holder can access the cabinet for the rifles.
