antlerman
hi all i thought i would show you a few bits that i have been doing recently. I have recently got two of my knife designs laser cut and have handled one today. The blanks are cut from 4mm rolled 01 tool steel and have been professionally heat treated. feedback would be great here they are top blank is my new neck survival knife ( NSK ) and second one down is my general purpose knife ( GPK ) this one is a handled NSK with a nice walnut handle with brass pins and tube and a brass and copper mosaic pin with a razor sharp zero scandi grind, the handle just needs some final sanding then a coat of oil and then a buffing session then it will be done and up for sale. do not have the dimesions now as i cant find a ruler but will put them up tomorrow. i have left this one with a scale rolled finnish on it from the laser cutters but any finnish can be done. many thanks Alex Edited May 28, 2011 by antlerman

Paul T
Looks good with the rolled finish - very unusual. Can I ask where you get mosaic pins from? Sheath for my first knife is underway, then I'll be chasing you for another knife blank Alex. ATB Paul
antlerman
thanks mate and yes i like the rolled finish, looks good against a polished edge and it is easy to maitain, i make my mosaic pins myself but im sure you can buy them on brisa if you google them and please post pics of the knife finished with the sheath. And i have just finished a NSK blade today and have a GPK underway so just pm me when you would like a blade. many thanks alex
