Pistol Gripped Supernova

Hey Guys, Ive had 24 inch pistol grip bennelli supernova ordered for me in oxfordshire. Ive waited over a month and the GMK status is still on back order/awaiting stock. does anyone here know the waiting times on this particular shotgun? One shop i phoned before i put in the order with Francis Lovell told me i had no chance of getting one and he wouldnt even put the order in. not sure why!

I don`t work for GMK but I can tell you that GMK usually get a couple of major deliveries a year from the factory, but,it would appear that what is delivered to the UK is what is left after the bulk of that particular production run has gone to the USA.

 

Benelli are notorious, even after being taken over by Beretta, for cocking up orders and delivering the wrong stuff. The US is Benelli`s main market and the UK is an insignificant afterthought.

 

GMK might, if you press them hard enough, tell you when the next shipment is due and, since their stock handling system is computerised, they should be able to tell you how many of the model you require are due for delivery and whether it is enough to ensure you get yours this time round.

 

As much as I love my Supernova I have no great confidence in either Benelli or GMK to deliver one speedily.

 

I placed an order for one of the first to be imported, and then waited for nearly two years before it arrived.
