Asa Bear
My Chessie has had a problem with his front left paw on & off for a couple of weeks now. He came home from a walk and later that evening wouldn't put his paw down. I couldn't see anything obvious & neither could the vet. We rested him for a week and he seemed fine. Then he would come back from a long walk fine one day & lame the next. Today he walked fine but was holding his paw again after getting home. I have noticed a patch of dry skin on his pad. So it'll be vets again Monday. Has anybody else had this? I think he may have an allergy. :(
kent
is it perhaps bruising, hidden from view? Try keeping him on grass and resting again maybee and save a silly bill
Asa Bear
I only walk him 100 yards on pavement to the fields but he can't help himself, he'll hoon around like a lunatic in & out of the bushes once off the lead. He is only 13 months old though.
apache
Allergy doesn't normally make them lame. Some sort of ligament injury is possible. Another check at the vets is the best thing.
