-Mongrel-
Completely agree, good post. my comments were more aimed at the post below. Even if it is only coming to play it will get a soft kick...I don't know if its an aggressive dog or not. Missed this one. What an idiotic attitude! You'd have no reason to kick a dog UNLESS it showed itself to be aggressive. Do you go into a pub and give everyone a slap just in case one of them may get aggressive? If you kicked my dog because he was attacking yours, I'd accept that as my failing for not getting him under control. If you kicked my dog for no real reason other than your lack of understanding of canine behaviour, you'd be in a whole new world of problems. .philmypower.
there seems to be a little confusion i only kicked the dog as it bit mine and was going in for another, i would never hurt a dog for just running at me , this happens often and i usually stroke the dog and have a bit of a chin wag with the owner. reddan
there seems to be a little confusion i only kicked the dog as it bit mine and was going in for another, i would never hurt a dog for just running at me , this happens often and i usually stroke the dog and have a bit of a chin wag with the owner. No confusion from me. IMO your comment is balanced with measured actions, i would have done the same. My gripes are that some seem to suggest that such a thing as dog running over could never happen with their dog and some seem to take a 'proactive' approach to dishing it out.
