hardguy007
Ive been shooting DTL (for roughly once a week the last 3 months) with my brother and a few mates and my best score has been 60 out of 75. Thats with 25 clays. We havnt shot a round off 10 yet. Question is would a lesson or 2 improve my scores and if so what could i realistically expect? Cheers
Hamster
DTL is easy enough to get the hang of to the stage you could expect 80+% hit rate. In my view you`d see a very slight improvement with expert lessons but it is just as likely that in a few months or at least year or so you would make a much more organic improvement anyway. In my view it`s best to start taking lessons once you have more than just a few months under your belt. You can easily get worthwhile advice from club hot shots for free at this stage. The other thing is equipment meaning gun and chokes etc, what are you using? Trap needs a pretty specific set of things for best results. adam_r
My girlfriend had some informal coaching by Alan Elvidge at cottondale. The day after she shot sporting at our usual place, her score doubled. Would highly recommend.
