I have heard that when the ground is wet pigeons will not land in muddy fields as they don't like slippery feet. They will feed in pastures with grass cover....is that true? I'm shooting on Thursday and its sunshine and heavy showers at the monent. Anyone got any advice for a novice?

I have found it to be true that pigeon dont like muddy feet.....you wont go far wrong if you can find a good number of pigeon feeding on clover......but like many have all ready said before....feeding doesnt usally start untill after 2'oclock.

All the best
