scutt Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 Poults and pellets collecting on the 30 th so pumped water to the tanks to give us a few weekends to sort out any leaks we have the blue plastic pipes (can,t spell alcathene) to feed bell drinkers in the past we have had bother holding the water mostly the valves but one time it was a single shotgun pellet hole in the pipe and this emptied a 250 ltr tank in less than a week because of this we have back up ball cock drinkers with old water tanks holding approx 60 ltrs .how soon do you diy lads start to prep the pen for your poult elect fences water feeders etc we seam to be doing it earlier each season .plus one hard and fast rule no ground game or runners in the pen.
