Hamster
Have you already bought the gun and what is it being used for? I use a standard rib 682e trap with 32" barrels but only shoot it for sporting clays. Even so I find that a high rib picture makes it less likely that I headlift which causes all sorts of problems. I have the comb set such that when mounting normally, I see double (or more) amount of rib you expect to see with most set ups. It is wrongly assumed that you can alter POI with adjustable ribs , not in my experience. You may find tiny differences in the two extremes but by and large the adjustable comb is only useful for minimal cast work coupled to arriving at the sight picture you happen to need or want. Putting in excess amounts of sideways lock on these can make them feel rather awkward when nestling against your face. You really need to dry set it first at home and then either shoot a few clays or spend an hour by a plate.
