Gnome of the Woods
Having read through BASC's guide to filling in the application form it says you can be granted a FAC without land if you help others on their permissions. Has anybody gone down this route? Although the kids are getting older and I am getting more spare time (i.e.some!)I do not feel if I was to gain a permission I could do it justice with the odd visit now and then. A friend has said I am more than welcome to join him on his permission, so although not my land I have access to it with him. I really enjoyed a recent trip out and have another planned in two weeks, and was wondering whether it is worth taking a punt and putting my application in? Paddy Galore!
how about asking your mate for joint rights to the aforementioned land? either that or join a club. Ask him to write a letter to the feo/fld stating that you are to accompany him at all times.
Gnome of the Woods
He did mention that, I would not want to go unaccompanied for a good while anyway. Not until he was 100% happy and so was I that I was safe in all aspects of firearms.
