markyboy
I do alot of wildfowling, duck on flight ponds etc. I have just got a permission in a prime position for ducks with 5 lochs in the area and a river running right through the heart of the village! My problem is with lots of stubbles in on the farm geese shooting won't be a prob, the duck on the other hand could be different! With a intake to the largest loch passing through the farm it can be 30ft wide in areas but very deep, I'm wondering how I attempt shooting this for duck is there anyway I can feed this or method to use feeding it? It's deep water and surrounded by reeds so throwing in the feed won't be any use! Has anybody used a raft of some sort with feeding on it? Just an idea of mine but think the crows will benefit also! Is it possible to decoy the stubbles for duck ? Somthing i seem in the states. Any advice grateful Mark
gixer1
Shoot them from a canoe? Or build a false island maybe?
