JonnyR
Interesting. I was having a conversation with my shooting mate tonight about morn versus afternoon/eve. They are cutting the rape near me and we are plotting our next move. We had about 120 a couple of weeks ago over wheat, which were spread fairly evenly over a period from 12 noon til 7. It will be interesting to see what others make of feeding patterns. cheers,
BenBhoy
i find it varies on time of year as much as anything else. now at harvest they can be leisurely about it, but i find when nights are drawing in earlier there always a good feeding frenzy then, perhaps as they want to go to roost with a full crop.
