ELMOR FUDD Posted April 27, 2006 Report Share Posted April 27, 2006 (edited) Im selling my cnc lathe if anyone is interested details emco compact 5 cnc lathe mk2/3 will hold 40mm diameter bar with ease x 12"long comes with insert tooling, drills,chucks, some taps and dies, live centre ect this lathe is in perfect working order and you can also turn it in to a cnc milling machine with the aid of an Emco milling attachment or even the milling attachment from Machine Mart for £100. It has a manual tool post with only 1 holder but i do have an automatic tool changer for this aswell which will hold 3 tools and 3 drills at the same time. I did have this changer on **** until this morning but the winner has just phoned me to tell me he cant raise the funds I have made loads of stuff on this lathe for members of the BBS and have had no bad remarks about the work You can also cut metric and imperial threads at the flick of a switch and with the cable that i have for it you can also turn you t.v in to a digital readout. Supplied with full printed manuals and storage tapes so all you have to do is plug it in and start working it. I will also throw in all the brass and ali that i have in the shed to get the buyer up and running straight away and will even help train the buyer in its use.
