I paid £350 brand new for the riffle.

garden gun
There are plenty of what pellet threads on here. The consensus appears to be to get hold of some "samples" packs and "punch some paper" at the sort of ranges that you are looking at taking down your quarry. A clear set of "best fit" for you and your gun will emerge. Then it is down to things like what is stocked at your local RFDs and what you can/wish to afford. Then we have the thorny follow on topic of what type of pellet - dome, point or hollow point. Personally at some 25-30 yds I go with point for feather and dome for fur, but experience on yuour permissions will guide you. What gets you the best kill ratio at a price you are prepared to pay will win out.

secretagentmole
Pellets? Try some Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums, we use these in BSAs and an HW 100. They are accurate, hit hard and are not too expensive. Quality pellets that are made in the USA!
