19powell90
Hey lads i am new to shotgunning pigeons ( avid airgunner ) and i would like to know where is the best place to shoot then for good bags? For example i know that ploughed fields are good but which fields - rape is good but what exactly is raoe and what does it look like? Also are field that grow sweet corn good after they have been ploughed? And on another part of my permissiion there is a few fields that are full of a very small plants ( or whatever it is ) planted on ribs of soil - is this good once ploughed? Thanks for any help Scott

Cranfield
The obvious place to shoot pigeons is where they are feeding and as this can change day to day, season to season, the best answer is observation. Go out and look around you farms, speak to the farmer, see whats going on. Take some time to learn what crops are planted and what they look like. The chaps that shoot big bags rarely just turn up on a field and fill their boots. This is good general advice , http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/129148-crop-watch-calendar-where-to-look-for-pigeon-activity/
