Got set up at 12.00 on rape stubble . Used a rotary for first time , birds were soaked and bedraggled and did not look convincing .

Put flapper out and drew 4 in . Enjoyed it though .Still cannot find a proper waterproof coat ,only Barbours do the best job I think.

why don't you guys use a brolly ,i have done for years ,a green fishing brolly ,sometimes i drape a camo net over but more often than not don't bother, birds dont seem to be botherd by it ,have it on tilt and use the guy ropes if its windy ,reminds me i need a new one this one getting a few holes in (drips)you can pick them up second hand at flea markets, boot sales ,never go out without mine ,ever!! not so botherd about my self but like to keep all my kit dry.

Tried brolly and birds could see me on the inflight and turn away even though I am completely still and camo'd up .
