rad334
Thursday evening We had a visit from Mr Fox and he killed five of our ducks. So I parked the wifes freelander up in the field last night and thought I'd sit and wait. I checked the rifle and lamp and all was good. I have to use the battery with the lamp because the lighter socket doesnt work. So from 10pm until 3.30am this morning every 5 to 10 mins I have a look through the night vision monocular, sure enough 3.30 he appears so down with the night vision up with the rifle and on with the lamp, but no the light doesnt come on, so after fumbling around thinking I'd either flicked the switch on the back of the light or turned the dimmer right down then realising its neither of thoughs its the rubbish push in connector on the battery. So now the lights on but I'd now flicked the switch into the walk possition so I could see about 10 yards and that was it! I did just see the fox disapear into the hedge Think from now on I'll put some tape around the connector! So thanks to the clulite connector I've had no sleep and still no fox Not to worry I suppose it cant got to plan all the time and theres always tonight
drut
If its any consolation I had similar problems last year with my Lightforce 140(now rewired & spade connectors). Peculiar how lamps always seem to pick the worst moment to act up.
