MG6065
Hi im planning on taking my pump action to the gun shop on monday to have a sling fitted to it, ive got a SGC and im only 16, the laws states i can pocess it at my age in public with a good reason as long as its in its sleeve, can i legally take it in and have it done or do i need my uncle to take me in? Thanks
dave1419
If the gun is on your certificate-why not, just get a lift to the gunshop and not take the bus!,the less people see the better.you will need your certificate to get the gun back after the work has been done also.----Dave

Scully
From the age of 15(as you will know)you can take out your shotgun unaccompanied,so taking it to your dealer wont be a problem. Will be surprised if it's any more than 30 quid, incl swivels. As has been mentioned, don't forget to take your SGC with you, then if there are any queries, you can prove ownership and entitlement. Envious, wish I'd had my own shotgun at your age.Have fun.
