otherwayup
Hi, Has anyone had cast adjusted by either Dave at Leech & Son or Jim Spalding? If so, any comments, good or bad? Thanks.
Dibs
I havent used either for cast although Jim is excellent but not sure he likes to do it if it involves bending the stock (potenial cracks etc). My advice for what its worth is try Alan at Eastern Sporting. He has a guy who re headed one of my stocks to neutral instead of the usual bending and only cost £50 Well recommended. The Essex Hunter
Hi, Has anyone had cast adjusted by either Dave at Leech & Son or Jim Spalding? If so, any comments, good or bad? Thanks. Frank(Daves dad) pulled my 325 over on a left cast, fits very nice, he all so did my sxs many years ago, nice job on both. AnthonyR
There is a chap called Chris (can't remember his surname) who is based in Clacton who specialises in this sort of work, he bends the stock using infra red lamps, doesn't take long and costs about £40 IIRC. He comes very highly recomended, lots of the smiths around here use him, although they don't tell you that. He bent the stock of my Beretta very nicely, while I waited as well. I have his phone number if you are interested
